New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius
There’s a table in front of you. On it, there is a bowl of sand, a cup of straws, and a dish of hay with a single needle hidden inside. They are literal objects, but metaphors, nonetheless. You look to your left — there is a pile of stones. Now, which do you take? Do you watch it fall through, grasp, or prick your fingers searching? Know that you don’t need an answer to ground yourself. Take a stone, and toss it. Watch it skip, and then plummet. You’re better off, this way.
And Sagittarius will provoke you to realize this. They crave passion, fierceness, and wholeness. No matter how simple or how grand, they see what they desire with only the most intense gaze. Under this solar eclipse, you may feel powerless in the wake of what you want. Simplify before you actualize. Having a vision is one thing, but tunnel vision may kill all your creativity.
After all, attachment is a thin concept. If you grab at it too hard, it’ll snap, leaving you with only shards. Like the Four of Cups, you only look to the phantom hand stretching out to you, teasingly. You do not see the bounty in front of you. Stop attaching yourself to unattainable things. Focus on what is in front of you. There is so much here, just waiting to be accepted.
