Saturn, planet of discipline, responsibility, and karma, has just begun its retrograde. How will this affect us?
Here, we’ll discuss Saturn in retrograde, as well as its impact.
During this retrograde, Saturn will be paired with the wise Capricorn. Saturn and Capricorn have been traveling together since December 19, 2017, and will continue to until March 21, 2020. How will this long-standing pair interact during their first retrograde of the year?
The retrograde began on April 30, and will end on September 18.
Representing discipline, responsibility, and karma, Saturn is undoubtably stern, but in no way stifling. This planet is a powerhouse for the enlightened self. With proper self-attention and care, we may flourish, and soar to our highest potential.
Though it may seem like a slow-burn, the aspirations of this planet are focused and clear. Here, we are called to be meticulous, and master every detail of our work. Acknowledgement of development is not a footnote within Saturn’s retrogrades, it is a pivotal part of the process. And within this process, we may find exponential gratification. Make no mistake, the magic of Saturn works in slow, but certain ways. It grows within you.
Capricorn couldn’t be a better sidekick for this journey. The sheer magnitude of confidence and self-reassurance this sign harbors is enough to guide you through the most treacherous of adventures. Capricorn holds firm footing in all theirs walks, and regardless of where they will choose to go at the crossroads, they will have a safe passage. This, they can confirm.
Saturn teaches us that through the fruit of our labor, we may feel the upmost satisfaction. With that in mind, know that the saying, “You can’t have your cake, and eat it too” is of old regime. Take your cake. Take two f*cking slices. Just be grateful, and the world will be grateful, too.
And while Capricorn guides us through success’s path, they tell us to enjoy the scenery, too. Take note of what you learn along the way. No matter the strife or failure that reaches out, you may still blossom and expand. Every being has its territory; find yours, and make it known. You owe it to yourself to have a safe space to return to.
It’s not coincidental that some respect has to be earned.
Work hard, and play harder. Laugh when you fall down, and have the hellish intent to get up, and stand stronger. There’s no need to be a tyrant, but know that the ground you stand upon is worth defending. How you do it, though, is up to you.
While Saturn and Capricorn sit side-by-side, value your energy, and the energy you take from others. Understand that everything is a chain reaction. What you give, is what you get. Find solace in giving more, for less. Be a light, in any way that resonates with you. Run after the darkness. Inspire others to be brighter. Don’t let anyone stamp you out.
You may be their only guide.
