Your 2019 Guide to Beltane

Beltane: a celebration of progression, light, and coming warmth.

Beltane is the halfway point between the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. Here, we are preparing for, and welcoming, the coming seasonal development, and what it brings.

Beltane occurs only once every year, and lasts one day.

This year’s Beltane will occur on May 1.

Here Is Our 2019 Beltane Lunar Calendar:

May 1 – Waning Crescent in Aries

Further information of our lunar cycle can be found here.

The Waning Crescent is a freeing and recuperative phase, allowing us to forgive ourselves, and relinquish withheld emotions. Any release, whether mental, physical, or spiritual, is magnified during this time. This phase, paired with Aries, may cause us to take extensive action in spurts. As a fire sign, Aries is never afraid to see a few bridges burn, as long as they made the choice to set it ablaze. Trust your instinct, and work for the greater good.

Now, for our Beltane practices.

This year’s Beltane is calling us to trust ourselves in our work, and all other endeavors. Work harder than you need to, not to impress, or because you feel like you have to, but because you love what you’re doing. Don’t work for, work to welcome goodwill into your life. This reward will always succeed your expectations.

For the self — become attune to your flow. Find time to enjoy the warmth of the sun; it will only grow fonder from here. Plant a seed, whether physically, or metaphorically. Tend to it, and watch it metamorphose. The world is ripening in the blink of an eye. What you reap, is what you sow.

Give back.

The offerings you provide now, regardless of form, are what you will receive. Good energy, work ethic, soil and Earth offerings: it will all come full circle. Look and listen to the signs delivered to you by the higher means. Reoccurring numbers, letters, shapes and sizes; they are all pointing you in one direction or another.

Remember to forge your own path.
